A profile boost helps you be seen in more company searches, higher up than non-boosted profiles. Our data shows that roughly 2 out of 3 connections are initiated by companies, so getting more recruiter eyeballs on your profile is the best way to increase your chances of finding your dream job. Companies want to find engaged, enthusiastic candidates with particular skills. Your quiz results and profile demonstrate your skills, and boosting is a way for companies to get signal on your job search intentions.

How does it work?
You can only boost your profile for a maximum of 2 weeks every 3 months. This limit is to keep it real — if everyone could be boosted all the time, it would quickly become meaningless.
You may want to check your blocklist before boosting, just to make sure that you've added your current employer.
How can I unboost myself?
There are a few ways you can "unboost" yourself:
- You can let the 2 weeks run out on their own
- You can toggle off the "Actively Looking" status
- You can change your profile visibility to "OFF" (aka hidden)
Note: The 2 week boost is continuous from the day you boost. Non-boosted days are not added onto the end of the 2 week boost period.
For example, if you boost yourself on Monday (day 1) and toggle off "Actively Looking" on Wednesday (day 3), then turn it back on on Sunday (day 7), you will still only have 7 days left of boost. The 4 days between Wednesday and Sunday that the boost was off are not added to the end of the 2 week period.
