Direct applications via the Triplebyte Jobs Directory are the best way to signal your interest to a company. Companies like candidates who are specifically enthusiastic about their company, and taking the time to apply shows that enthusiasm.
However, we also know that applying can be really time-consuming (and exhausting), so we’ve streamlined the process. Applying to any role via Triplebyte only requires one thing: a Triplebyte profile.
Triplebyte application process, at a glance:
- Complete your Triplebyte profile.
- Browse the Job Directory to find roles you're particularly interested in. When you find a job you're interested in, click Apply.
- Companies rely on Triplebyte profiles in place of their own applications, so we recommend filling out your profile in detail and making sure your assessment scores of 3+ are visible. You’re more likely to get a response if you provide as much (or more) info as they’d get on a standard application.
When you click Submit, you're done!
Any tips on how to improve my chances of hearing back?
Sure! We recommend applying to roles that closely match your profile. We also recommend re-taking assessments periodically to improve your scores, and taking additional assessments to show off specific skills that a company may be looking for. You can earn additional certificates, and you’ll add additional verified skills to your profile that companies may be searching for.
I applied. What comes next?
You can view your applications in your Requests manager to the left of your main dropdown menu. Companies can either accept or reject your application within 10 business days.
If a company accepts your application, you will receive an email from Triplebyte with a copy of the company's message to you, outlining the next steps of their process. Your application will move to the “Accepted section” of your Requests manager. You may also receive an email directly from the company, depending on their process. Next steps from there are up to the company, so please check in with them directly if it's unclear what comes next.
If a company rejects your application, you will receive an email from Triplebyte letting you know. If the company wrote you a message, that will be included in the email and will be viewable on our platform.
If your application expires without a company response, you will receive an email from Triplebyte letting you know. Applications expire after 10 business days.
What does the company see when I apply?
Yes. Companies may leave roles open on an ongoing basis for a variety of reasons, so if a role you’ve already applied to is still open after 6 months, you can reapply at that time. You may want to take additional assessments related to the role requirements prior to reapplying!
