You can select any of our three levels for your Job Search Status, and you can update it at any time.
“Excited about new opportunities” means your profile is visible and highlighted on the Triplebyte network. It will be shown often to our partner companies in their search results when your preferences and/or skills align with one of their open roles.
We also apply a special tag to your profile to let companies know that you are actively looking for a new role and interested in hearing from them. This tag is used in two ways:
- We add a visible highlight to your listing when your profile is returned in any company search results
- Companies can create searches that filter specifically for candidates whose job search status is set to "Excited about new opportunities."
This is a good option for engineers who are in the midst of an active job search and want to hear from companies.
“Open to discussing new opportunities” means your profile is visible on the Triplebyte network and will be shown to our partner companies when your preferences and skills align with one of their open roles. This is a good option for engineers who don’t mind hearing about exciting new opportunities from time to time, but also don’t want to field lots of requests from companies.
“Not interested in any new opportunities” means your profile will be hidden from all companies on the Triplebyte network.
Please note: Your Triplebyte profile is only shown to logged-in company users on the Triplebyte network, and is NOT visible in public search engines, regardless of which job search status you select. Similarly, your company blacklist will apply regardless of your job search status. Learn more about controlling your profile visibility.
