After performing thousands of interviews across a wide spectrum of engineering disciplines and experience levels, we've learned a few things. Hosting an effective onsite interview means creating an environment that does two main things:
- Allows your team to learn a lot about the candidate, to the extent that you feel confident extending an offer (or not)
- Provides a great candidate experience, so that they're more likely to accept a potential offer
