Our partner companies often ask us why we put restrictions on their interactions with candidates in the FastTrack process.
The simple answer is that we are able to attract top engineers to the platform because of our expedited interview process. Our background-blind assessments are a major value add for junior engineers or those from nontraditional backgrounds, and our process restrictions are largely focused on creating a positive experience for highly skilled engineers.
Highly skilled (or highly credentialed) engineers know that they can generally find a job fairly easily once they want one. However, this has traditionally meant sorting through numerous (and often poorly-selected) messages from recruiters over professional networks, participating in varied and extensive interview processes, and managing applications and communications to potentially dozens of different employers. Engineers don’t like this process, and they want a streamlined, straightforward job search.
The FastTrack process was born in part out of this fact. Our goal is to remove as many pain points as possible for applicants, creating an appealing and unified pipeline where applications only have to be entered once and where their progress with different companies can be tracked in a single location. The process of a single technical initial interview (in the form of Triplebyte’s own interview), skipping all additional tech screens, and going directly to final onsites features heavily in our ability to attract these top candidates. We ask for our partners’ help in guaranteeing them that experience so that we are able to continue providing you with a steady stream of incredible engineers.
